27.10.2016 README for biomechZoo help repository

The biomechZoo repository contains help files associated with the biomechZoo toolbox. This toolbox runs on Matlab v2016a or newer and has been tested on both mac OS and windows platforms

The biomechZoo-help repository contains the following help sub-folders:

  • examples: Basic functions of biomechZoo are demonstrated to the user using example scripts
  • reference materials: Manuals and manuscripts related to biomechZoo
  • sample study: A complete processing script and data for a sample gait study (accompanies manuscript)
  • user guides: Presentations and other user guides (in development)

Getting started:

  • Download the biomechZoo toolbox (https://github.com/PhilD001/biomechZoo)
  • Make sure both the 'biomechZoo' an 'biomechZoo-help' folders are placed side by side on your system e.g. 'C:\users\me\myresearch\biomechZoo' and 'C:\users\me\myresearch\biomechZoo-help'
  • Start Matlab
  • Open and run 'startZoo.m' located in the root biomechZoo folder to set your Matlab path
