Release Notes

This is a hotfix release to resolve a problem with the daemon operating in "dualstack" mode (which enables both clearnet IPs and tor tunneling simultaneously). Please see #1507 for more information.

(Also includes fix for interface problems included with new Sign/Verify JSON API endpoints which are new/experimental.)

Release Notes

IMPORTANT: This is a required update, focused on updating IPFS to v0.4.18 along with minor improvements and fixes. We recommend that you backup your OpenBazaar data before you update.

The focus of this releases is updating go-ipfs to v0.4.18. This was a rather large change requiring a lot of refactoring. We also made the decision to start the process of moving off of a fork of go-ipfs and towards using stock go-ipfs in our vendor package. This will be a two-step migration with this release preparing nodes for the full migration to come in a later release. Once enough of our network has upgraded to this version we can put out a release which is more aligned with stock release of go-ipfs.

(Note: Our nodes will still use a separate network and separate DHT after adopting stock go-ipfs, but we can configure that from inside openbazaar-go without needing to use a fork.)
