OpenFOAM is the free, open source CFD software developed primarily by OpenCFD Ltd since 2004.
OpenFOAM has a large user base across most areas of engineering and science, from both commercial and academic organisations. OpenFOAM has an extensive range of features to solve anything from complex fluid flows involving chemical reactions, turbulence and heat transfer, to acoustics, solid mechanics and electromagnetics.
This is already addressed as part of #131486 and a PR for this is awaiting review (since 2 months) in #329213. There is also the (not yet marked ready) PR #329527 with OpenFOAM components.
