Caret Broken in IE8

When I load the basic demo into IE8 (http://mottie.github.com/Keyboard/basic.html), then I type a character then hit shift, the caret returns to the beginning of the field. Am I missing something?

Yeah, that is odd, but if you type in another character, the caret is returned to the correct position.

I'll look into fixing this so it doesn't confuse users.

This issue should now be resolved. I've tested it in IE7 and IE8.
