• Update the release workflows to include the latest versions of Ubuntu, Debian (Update release workflow with latest debian/ubuntu #854)

• Test on macOS
• Test on Linux
• Update CHANGELOG (Update changelog for 2.3.0 release #867)
• Bump Cargo.toml version number (Bump crates version to 2.3.0 #868)
• Release crates to crates.io
• Tag new release tag

Known issues:

• Events in Windows are "duplicated", causing broken functionality (Normalize event handling across terminals #864)
• Help (shift+?) keybinding broken on master #837
• External editor not loading (Fix sharing of ThreadStatus #866)

After release checklist:

• Update README to add reference to development build
• Fix changelog date
• Fix release script order

Sadly, I've been on a bit of a hiatus since early in the year. I agree, a new release is badly needed.

I have one bug to address, then I can test on the platforms I test, and get a new release out.

Thanks for the bump/reminder on the release, and apologies that it has taken this long to respond.
