Metamask injects web3 late

Metamask sometimes injected after other page resources
Experienced by several people, including @simondlr.

Yeah I think @kumavis actually fixed this in engine-provider this week!

When it starts happening, I'll have my pokeball ready to capture this beast and its behaviours. 👍

fwiw. It happened to me again last week after a long while of not seeing it. But couldn't reliable produce it. :/

I did add a commit that would maybe improve the situ but also idk bc i cant test it. let me know next time and we'll re-open this.
