Describe the bug

Problem: whenever we install MetaMask on firefox for the first time (production), MM crashes with the error MetaMask had trouble starting.
Whenever you re-start it, it then works fine

This error is quite old, and it was also flagged by @kevinghim but for some reason I cannot find it on the repo now 🤔

thank you @anaamolnar mmm unfortunately it's not this one 🤔 I believe I opened the issue (but maybe was left in draft ?) seems that this issue also triggers this same error, but it seems they did had MM Firefox installed already.
In this current ticket the behaviour is deterministic and it happens every time you install firefox for the first time.
They may be related though 🤔
