This is a Python library that should allow you to use the National Instruments boxes in the MEG and MRI scanners at the MRC Cognition and Brain Sciences Unit. These boxes allow you to sync your experiments with the MRI scanner, to send triggers to the MEG scanner, and to receive input from button boxes.
The library is written by Edwin Dalmaijer. If you find a bug, have a question, or just need someone to talk to, please email me: [email protected]
HA! This is already done for you, courtesy of the CBU's IT team. Buy them a coffee, will you?
- Click on the green "Download or clone" button.
- Click on the "Download ZIP" option.
- Unzip the archive you just downloaded.
- Copy the
scansync
folder into the folder that contains your experiment. - You can now import classes from
scansync
in your experiment script.
TL;DR Feel free to use this however, but don't blaim me or the CBU for the consequences.
ScanSync is open source software and therefore free to use and modify at will. Warranty, however, is NOT given. If this software fails, causes your computer to blow up, your spouse to leave you, your toilet to clog and/or the entire supply of nuclear missles on earth to launch, or anything else that you might want to blame on us, the author(s) CANNOT IN ANY WAY be held responsible.
ScanSync was released under the GNU Public License (version 3), of which you should have received a copy of together with the software:
