qBittorrent Setup Guide

This is a setup guide for qBittorrent. The guide is made so that the torrents do NOT seed after being downloaded and are being paused. This is so that Radarr can detect the torrent and delete it! You can tweak these settings however you like, except the directories, the docker container will not work if the proper directories are not set!

1. Click Tools --> Settings or directly click on the wrench & screwdriver icon on the toolbar.

2. The settings window will open. The download and temporary downloads directory should be automatically put in. If not input the following:
   • /qbittorrent/Downloads (CaSE_SenSItiVE, this is for the completed downloads)
   • /qbittorrent/Downloads/temp (CaSE_SenSItiVE, this is for the temporary download location)
     • BEWARE! Temporary download location may result in Radarr giving permission errors! Will work on a fix on the future. I prefer to have mine turned off!

• Make sure that you copy the settings that are marked in the picture!
  

3. Press on "Connection" on the settings-window toolbar.
   • Then change the "Port used for incoming connections" to 6881
   • Uncheck the four boxes that are marked in the picture.

4. Press on "Speed" on the settings-window toolbar.
   • Uncheck the boxes that are marked in the picture.

• Make sure that you copy the settings that are marked in the picture!
  
  

5. Press on "Bittorrent" on the settings-window toolbar.
   • Check "Torrent Queuering"
     • Input desired numbers.
   • Check "Do not count slow torrents in these limits"
   • Check "Seed torrents until their ratio reaches ..."
     • Type in "0" instead of "1"
     • Choose "Pause them" from the drop down

• Make sure that you copy the settings that are marked in the picture!
  
  

6. Press "Save"
