Using a rooted nexus 4 with stock rom.

Any other information I can provide?

Blocking network access works :-) (I have it installed correctly)

Did you install the patch? I had a similar issue until I installed it.

My versions of things:
Xposed_fix_4.2.zip
XPrivacy_0.15.apk

Xposed Installer 2.1.4
app_process 34
XposedBridge.jar 2.1.4

XPrivacy is enabled in the Xposed Installer

Before I am going to look into it: XPrivacy doesn't block GPS locations, but replaces them by random locations.
So for the Facebook app the GPS should appear to work, only where you are might vary.
Please let me know if Facebook 'sees' your actual location or not.

I have just tried restricting the location for Facebook and I was nearby Easter Island ;-)

Please send me a logcat starting from your device startup until starting Facebook and I will check if it is working for your ROM.

Oh, so it doesn't actually use the gps? Cause the notifications bar says location set by gps.
The overall goal here with the gps is just to save battery.

How do I make a logcat??

Everything should seem normal, so the notifications bar will say location set by GPS.
Only the Facebook app will be fed with random locations instead of real locations
Restrict the location for the Facebook application and try to check in and see where Facebook thinks where you are.

Yup, I confirmed the random locations a couple hours ago. Glad this doesn't actually use battery, like real GPS. :-)
thanks!
