Or if possible maybe, hyperlink the IP addresses to a whois website, if that is even possible and free to do, maybe if, assuming its possible to do any of this on the "usage" screen, long press on ip will give option to copy, and "clicking" the hyperlink ip address will take you to a decent whois website where you can then paste the ip address to quickly get more info beyond just an ip address, i dont know, maybe, just a couple of ideas

This is probabably to much to ask, but heres a screenie from another app that i think does this very well, but would be such a nice feature to compliment what xprivacy is, plus making xprivacy just that little bit amazing, no expectation beyond the hope you might like it and had'nt considered it,

whoops, sorry, a link might be usefull,
Network Connections
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.antispycell.connmonitor
If anything, if this request is a no go, i'd reccomend this app for that recent list your making in your github page, with apps that would compliment xprivacy

thanks marcel, that would be fantastic

Thinking about this app, I'd like to nominate

Network Connections
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.antispycell.connmonitor

for your list of apps that compliment xprivacy

I would like to counter your offer with the open source alternative os monitor
https://f-droid.org/repository/browse/?fdfilter=os%20monitor&fdid=com.eolwral.osmonitor

Especially given the fact that the origin of network monitor is rather sketchy

OS Monitor has been added to the list in the FAQ.
Open source software is always preferred in this context.

There were whois entries which at one point could be traced back to shell companies of a 3 letter agency. When this was brought up, the accusations were denied, however almost immediately after the discussion started the whois entries were also edited

Works very nicely, and so damn quick, xprivacy seems to be progressing leaps and bounds recently, you guys are doing an amazing job here
Just a quick note about the copy/paste, dont know if its a bug or intended function, but im unable to "click" on the restrictions that i can copy/paste, in order to go to the app using that restriction, if that makes sense

It took some trickery to make the click working again, but it stays a compromise, since less area is clickable now. Version to try: http://d-h.st/TbO

With this version I am getting multiple FC of Viber on boot
Logcat of FC:

Or is this just a coincidence

It seems to be a bug in Viber, maybe caused by receiving invalid data.

yep, i can now seperately pick the restriction or copy the parameter, although, is the blue highlight when long pressing a restriction with parameters, in the usage screen suppose to be gone, is that a sacrafice.....it helps because the listings come out quite small, and the blue highlight helps me from accidently picking the wrong restriction, unless your willing to make the data usage listings bigger(touch area), i know the 10.1 has room to spare, but dont know how that will translate to other screen devices

There is a bug though, any restriction that does NOT, have any parameter information in them can now, NOT be selected...........in your own time marcel, more then happy to wait, if you want to come back to this later, if this is turning out to be a "big" feature, meaning the work of a big feature

@M66B you are correct yet again. It was a problem with an incoming message that just so happened to come in during the XPrivacy install reboot
