Indicators

This page shows all indicators including warnings and other flags altogether. They can be divided into two groups, TR-dependent items and independent items.

TR-Dependent Indicators

See TR for detailed explanation of the following items.

  • Unit indicator 1 (RFL)
  • Unit indicator 2 (PUS)
  • Coordination flag
  • Similar callsign indicator
  • Reconnected indicator

Note

Command line .MTEP TR RESET will reset Coordination flag and Reconnected indicator.

Independent Indicators

  • Emergency flag - shows emergency status when RT squawk is set to 7700/7600/7500.
  • CLAM flag - Cleared Level Adherence Monitoring, shows CL.
    • In the color of Color/CLAM or Symbology Settings->Datablock->Information.
    • Replace default CL with Flag/CLAM.

Note

CLAM Schematic

  • CFL is not set to approach (ILS/VA), and is greater than 200ft.
  • MCL/AFL is not within CFL±200ft range.
  • VS is within threshold (maintaining altitude):
    • CFL has been issued for over 60 seconds. (Recorded by TR)
  • VS is not within threshold
    • The trend is not towards CFL.
  • RAM flag - Route Adherence Monitoring, shows RA.
    • Currently uses ES native logic with an extra inhibit condition: when RT is within 30nm range of departure or arrival airport.
    • In the color of Color/RAM or Symbology Settings->Datablock->Information.
    • Replace default RA with Flag/RAM.
  • Squawk DUPE flag - shows DU when a duplicated squawk code is detected if either RT is correlated to FP.
  • RMK/STS indicator - shows * if RMK/ or STS/ is found in flight plan remarks.
  • RVSM indicator - shows V for VFR flights (RvsmV), A SPACE if aircraft has RVSM capability (RvsmO), otherwise X (RvsmX).
  • Radar vector indicator - shows RV for tracked aircraft with an assigned heading.
  • RECAT-CN (H-B/C) - wake turbulence re-categorization (RECAT-CN) for H(eavy) aircrafts. Only includes -B -C.
  • RECAT-CN (LMCBJ) - wake turbulence re-categorization (RECAT-CN) for all aircrafts. Includes L M C B J.

Note

Due to a mysterious bug with flight planning, some aircrafts will show incorrect wake turbulence category. Suggested solution is to remove redundant aircraft information in flight plan dialog, preserving the ICAO designator only.
