Problem Statement: Automated Cyber Fraud Detection and Reporting System
Description: Design an automated system/bot that can detect online financial frauds and cyber scams, allowing law enforcement agencies to quickly respond and protect potential victims while also generating alerts for the victim. e.g. – cyber security mobile app having access to Phone, Messages, e-mails, social media accounts, etc. that alerts the phone user to phishing attempts and sends report to LEA.
Solution: We propose the solution in the form of a mobile application. At its core, the application will use machine learning algorithms to categorise messages, and flag suspicious or fraudulent ones. We have an approximate accuracy of 98% in the ML model with the current dataset . The USP of this mobile application will be the integrated AI chatbot,'KAALI', that will guide users to take various security measures in safeguarding their devices and confidential information from any intruder. 'KAALI' will also help users in reporting any cyberfraud on the official government. The application will be able to manage messages for users, classifying read and unread messages, while being able to flag spam without user reading it. The application also has a "Report" section for users to manually report a cyberfraud and give extra details. We also offer a Content Page for spreading news and awareness about current cybercrime situation and for users to protect themselves in the modern times.
