This is a preview build but it should be stable enough for everyday use.

This build will reset all settings to defaults.

Known issues:

• Quests might take a while to appear on the list with submission enabled if you have quests that aren't yet translated or use wiki-style IDs. This will be fixed in the next release (probably by keeping a history of submitted quests). Please enable automatic update for translations if you are using the English language.

Regarding automatic string submission: publishing the build last night resulted in 19 quests being submitted to the database in less than 12 hours, of them 4 not in translations yet, 2 with Japanese text changes (mistypes and numerals) and rest with actual IDs.

The submission feature is still work in progress and will be expanded to cover map/node names and expeditions later. Please do not disable automatic translation updates if you have submission enabled.

This build does not include a horizontal version yet.

• Removed German and Chinese localisation support (no maintainers).
• Updated English translations for new ships and equipment; updated quests (note: there is another case of a duplicate quest title; the submarine sortie quest for 2-3 has the same title as the one for 6-1).

Soon™: a (still separate, sadly) horizontal version and a decent localisation implementation for quests (hopefully).

Important note: delete your lib and plugins directories prior to updating to this version!

Horizontal

Some of the libraries differ from the basic distribution; the standard vertical build will work with horizontal build's libraries, but if you only copy the horizontal executable over to where the default version is, it most probably will not work.

This is an alpha build, only the Overview pane has been rearranged at the moment.

Important note:

The buttons for ship list and equipment list are gone in the horizontal version. Click the ship girl / equipment counters under the game flash object (Ship Girls: X/Y etc.) instead. Later these will be clearly shown as clickable links to avoid confusion.

GitHub changed their raw URL syntax so the update checks will fail or produce erroneous results with old versions of KCV. You will have to update manually.

Bug-fix release. Please be advised: your old settings file is now considered invalid by KCV and you need to go through all settings you've changed once again.

Horizontal version: Soon™. E-6 is still undefeated; once I'm done with it I'll see what I can do about this so sought after horizontal mode. Please don't spam in the commit comments, it won't make E-6 complete itself.
