Does Archi farm my Game? #2894
-
first of all, i'm not a native speaker, so bear with me. So i wanted to use Archi for just one game: Devil's Share. with AppID: 388870, because there are no cards to buy and i just want the badge. So i put Archi on my Ubuntu Server and run it from there. But i am not really sure if the game really gets farmed since the game wont show up in the "recent Games" section in my library. That's all i've tried is:
After a little googling i found out, that technically, every game can be Farmed so i am a little confused here, why it isn't working properly. I will let my bot run for some time to see if it really doesn't work, till then, does someone have an idea why its doing that? is it maybe because i cannot buy the game regularly and had to buy a key for it, in order to play it? thank you in advance for the help^^ |

To farm a game you must own it, that means if FREE you must first add the game to your account. Then you can farm cards for this game (if it has drops available). I would suggest to take your time and read the wiki to understand what ArchiSteamFarm does for you. As i feel you a bit confused with the purpose of the software and how Steam trading cards and drops work. Cya! |

^ Note that Steam just will give you the half of the badge size while farming. The rest need to be purchase in the Steam market or trading it on Steam users.
You can also farm hours (aka idle the game) once the game have no more card drops for it. This will increase your game played hours but ofc will not give you any more extra card while doing it.
