Getting a permission error (I think) on Android (Andronix Modded OS in termux)

Sorry for the bad markdown, I don't know how to fix it.

I think it is the same issue and is related to android O.

According to this thread: termux/termux-app#299 apps dont have access to proc under oreo.

Is there a fix to prevent ASF to use it?

No, you can't make ASF ignore those, it's part of core functionality.

I see your Andronix added "fake" bindings for that in AndronixApp/AndronixOrigin@390288d - I didn't use your software, but ensure you have up-to-date version and use that Ubuntu20 distro or whatever it is and see if you get better results.

It turns out the specific distro I had installed didn't support it. I now use the normal Ubuntu 20 and it works. Asf works flawlessly in Termux now. Thanks for the help.
