SVI (social vulnerability index) is a factor that should be considered within Covasim, as it will allow us to better represent minority communities. This proposed code builds off a paper by the NIH which proposes that people with an SVI above 150% have a 65% increase in their chance of becoming symptomatic of covid, given that they are exposed.
