API Export Error

I just saw in the server logs that today (Aug 14, 2020 12:48:44 PM UTC) the API service returned an unexpected error twice for some unknown reason. According to the logs it either happened in the Export view or the appropriate API endpoint.

Not sure if it was you (@dobkeratops) who triggered this issue? If so, can you maybe remember what the input was? (I tried to reproduce it locally, but wasn't able to) If it wasn't you or you can't remember it's also not a big deal, then I'll add additional debugging to track down the problem when it occurs again.

not sure that was me - haven't tried the exports recently (or used the explore view), but I will be using that soon
