FastAPI Project

Overview

This repository contains a web API built using FastAPI, a modern, fast (high-performance) web framework for building APIs with Python 3.7+ based on standard Python type hints.

Requirements

• Python 3.7+

Installation

1. Clone the repository:

   git clone https://github.com/Ideas2IT/fastapi-foundation.git
   cd fastapi-foundation

2. Create and activate a virtual environment:

   python3 -m venv env
   source env/bin/activate  # On Windows use `env\Scripts\activate`

3. Install the dependencies:

   pip install -r requirements.txt

Running the Application

1. Start the Uvicorn server:

   uvicorn main:app --reload

2. Open your browser and navigate to http://127.0.0.1:8000 to see the API documentation.
