How was the Cookbook developed?
The IUPAC FAIR Chemistry Cookbook (the "Cookbook") was developed as a project within the WorldFAIR grant, written by the Committee on Data (CODATA) of the International Science Council (ISC) and the Research Data Alliance (RDA).
The Cookbook is one of three deliverables under the Chemistry case study of the WorldFAIR grant, administered by the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC). All three deliverables are geared toward FAIR adoption/implementation in the chemical sciences, augmenting the activities already undertaken by IUPAC to understand what FAIR means for chemistry.
The project brought together a group of researchers, chemistry librarians, informaticians and data scientists to develop this important resource for the chemistry community. Contributors are:
- Stuart Chalk (Editor), University of North Florida
- Ann-Christin Andres, Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz
- Simon Coles, University of Southampton
- Jordi Cuadros, IQS Universitat Ramon Llull
