Simple stimuli for testing RGC models.

##Moving bar

A white moving bar is swept from left to right on a gray background.

Each position in the image represents an RGC, and the spiking activity of the RGCs shows the bar sweeping from left to right.

See t_rgcBar.m.

##Drifting Gabor

A Gabor with a relatively low spatial frequency is drifted in phase.

The PSTH of the RGC mosaic shows the Gabor drifting in phase.

See t_rgcGabor.m.

##Rings and rays

The radiating rings and rays stimulus with simulated eye movements.

The rings and rays stimulus optical image (left) and the average PSTH for the RGC mosaic (right).

The PSTH of the RGC mosaic in response to the rings and rays stimulus with eye movements.

See t_rgcRingsRays.m.

##Vernier acuity

A vernier stimulus with simulated eye movements.

Left: an optical image of the vernier stimulus. Right: the average PSTH for the RGC mosaic.

##Resolution targets ('g')

The letter 'g' is presented with simulated eye movements.

Left: an optical image of the letter 'g' stimulus. Right: the average PSTH for the RGC mosaic.

See t_rgcLetter.m.
