Related to the work on #32, we have a need to a consistent popup in the UX that gives a clinician a quick look at a patient's history.

Per my latest requirements conversations, there's some nuance here.

  1. Docs want to see all the notes and history in one place
  2. During an in-patient stay, the notes from that in-patient stay are incredibly relevant
  3. Afterwards, notes from an in-patient stay are less important than the clinic notes, surgical data, allergies ( Display allergies on the patient summary header #235 ), and diagnosis

So my idea is to show the history based on the notes, with the related objects (Visits, Procedures, etc) inline. Visits are collapsed in the report but expandable.

Consider including a feature to reorder the series of a patient history. Alternative: consider making a given history entry "sticky."

The rationale behind this is that certain notes in the history may be considered of prioritized relevance and worthwhile ensuring they remain "top of mind" and therefore, top of screen.

Eventually, a "vote up" feature may be called for.

I've reworked this concept and plan to deliver this with #32 in the coming week+
