Bug fixes:

  • Fixed bunkers spawning on top of each other.
  • Fixed not being able to pick up loot in certain situations.
  • Fixed skins not working when no melee is equipped.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the game to freeze.
  • Fixed a bug preventing players from dropping items when they don't have any guns.
  • Fixed constant melee noises playing if a player died while attacking with melee.

The sixth Surviv Reloaded alpha.

New features:

  • Bunkers! The basements of buildings are now accessible, and all bunkers have been added.
  • More and better buildings! All of the structures and obstacles in classic mode have been added, and all structures now have the loot that they're supposed to.
  • Better river generation! Rivers aren't completely randomly generated yet, but they are a little more interesting now.
  • Implemented gun dual-wielding.
  • Burst guns like the M93R now fire properly.
  • Added slowdown when firing guns.
  • Building roofs now collapse.
  • Exploding objects like barrels and ovens now release shrapnel and leave residue.
  • Players now join as spectators earlier in the game.
  • Added the Europe and Asia servers to the region selector.

Bug fixes:

  • Fixed bullet speed issues.
  • Fixed some obstacles being indestructible with melee. Bullets are still unable to destroy certain objects - this is a known issue.
  • Fixed kill feed text color.

The fifth Surviv Reloaded alpha release.

New features:

  • Doors now work again.
  • Added spectating! If the red zone is small enough, players will join as spectators.
  • EU server! An EU server, kindly hosted by a volunteer, is now available at: https://eu.resurviv.io/. It doesn't appear in the region selector yet.
  • Major performance improvements.
  • Implemented all missing keybinds.
  • Loose loot now spawns in buildings.
  • Team pings have been disabled.

Bug fixes:

  • Fixed various issues with guns and bullets.
  • Fixed ghost player bug.
  • Fixed players being able to melee while healing.
  • Fixed other players' melee animations not being visible.

The fourth alpha release of Surviv Reloaded, the biggest update yet.

New features:

  • Guns! 'Nuff said.
  • Chicken dinners! If you're the last man standing, you can now win that sweet, sweet chicken dinner.
  • Red zone! Added the red zone.
  • New buildings! Added the Crimson Ring Club, Mansion, Police Station, Bank, Greenhouse, and Cabin.
  • More loot! Soviet crates and toilets now drop loot.
  • Dropping items! You can now drop most items.
  • You can now cancel using a healing item.
  • Loot now spreads out from players when they die, instead of clumping up in one place.
  • Barrels now explode.

Bug fixes:

  • You can no longer attack while healing.
  • Players no longer spawn inside of obstacles.
  • Fixed a bug causing buildings not to render sometimes.
  • Fixed an exploit which allowed players to equip any weapon.
  • Fixed a bug causing players to continue to move slowly after healing.
  • Fixed incorrect collisions in barn.

Now that most of the basic features are in the game, I'll be slowing down a little. Major updates will be released once every few weeks, instead of once a week.

The third alpha release of Surviv Reloaded.

New features:

  • Loot! Crates now drop basic loot, including scopes, healing items, helmets, vests, and packs.
  • Pre-Kong client! The game now uses an older version of the surviv.io website, from just before it was acquired by Kongregate (December 5, 2019).
  • Kill leader! The kill leader mechanic has been implemented.
  • Death screen! A death screen is now displayed when you die.
  • New domain! https://resurviv.io/
  • Mobile support! The game is now playable on mobile devices.

Bug fixes:

  • The game now no longer freezes when two players meet each other.
  • All obstacle placement and collision bugs have been fixed. (hopefully)
  • Windows can no longer be passed through after they're broken.

The second Surviv Reloaded alpha release. New features:

  • Added melee combat! Now you can hurt and kill other players. There's no fancy death screen yet, but it works. If you die, press Escape, then click on Quit Game.
  • Skins are now supported! Every skin is available for free.
  • You can now change your name!
  • (Mostly) fixed obstacle placement and collision bugs. Doors aren't working yet due to the rewrite.
