Task Description

PHP 8.2 is expected to be released at the end of November 2022.

Core has already started running tests against PHP 8.2, see core.trac.wordpress.org/changeset/53922, but is far away from having passing tests. There are tons of deprecation warnings due to the dynamic properties deprecation (kudos to all the contributors working on that!). See https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/56009 for an overview.

ampproject/amp-wp#7225 should be merged soon, then we should be in pretty good shape.
