This is the first of the new-style recipes discussed lately between Julio and me, that will eventually supplant most of the current blueprints.
The plan is for Julio to extend the testing framework to cover these in a subsequent PR, and this serves as the first prototype to use in development. Test is still missing, but the recipe has been manually tested by applying it iterating through the different possible configurations.
