A partial implementation of the JSON Web Token (JWT) standard written in .net core.
This library does not (yet) claim to support the full range of capabilities defined by the RFC 7519 standard.
// create a new token and set the properties
var token = new JsonWebToken()
{
Payload = new JWSPayload
{
ID = Guid.NewGuid().ToString(),
IssuedAt = DateTime.UtcNow,
ExpirationTime = DateTime.UtcNow.AddHours(12),
ClaimsSet = new Dictionary<string, dynamic>
{
{ "name", "john doe" },
{ "email", "[email protected]" },
{ "role", "sample user" }
}
}
};
// Encode the token using a secret phrase
var tokenString = token.Encode("sample secret phrase");
// Decode the encoded token using the same secret phrase
var decodedToken = JsonWebToken.Decode(tokenString, "sample secret phrase");
