This appears to be a duplicate of #247 ?

Add yourself there and please confirm that you can reproduce this with a non Flatpak installation.

The point of flatpak is so i do not have to install things like this to my root system. Good luck

"This appears to be a duplicate of #247 ?"

Yes. In my tiredness, i failed to see that the issue was already noted. This is an exact duplicate. Apologies for wasted time.

Things like what?

You say that as though the code is proprietary or suspect in some way.

If you're actually concerned about the code, it's simple, do not use it at all. Doing anything else makes little sense.

Good luck

With what exactly?

This is not an issue for me.

"Things like what?"
Software not directly from the main repo of my distro.

"You say that as though the code is proprietary or suspect in some way.

I would not have installed the flatpak if i truly suspected malicious code.

"With what exactly?"
Getting your software to work.

"This is not an issue for me."
Glad to hear it, but i am not sure what your trying to say.

Be well.

OK. Let me make it clear.

The software works fine with a normal installation, do you understand?

You are complaining to me about an issue with a third party packaging solution that I just couldn't care less about.

Do you get it now?

@Hunanbean pls keep a civil tone. @JerryCasiano is doing a good job in developing FontManager, always responsive and friendly, sometimes quicker in a negative response to demands they know are not doable in the time available.

I suppose if you are able to contribute to making the Flatpak work with Google Fonts, you will be more than welcome to contribute, that's for sure more productive than complaining…

@skurzinz

I appreciate the sentiment. ;-)

Sometimes I'm my own worst enemy when it comes to people I perceive as entitled though...
