Issue

Support for Node 16 will be dropped in October according to Node.JS LTS schedule.

Also see #1223

Solution and steps

  • Remove better-sqlite3
  • Remove support for Node 16 and add support for Node 20

Checklist

  • Add/update/check docs (code comments and docs/ folder).
  • Add/update/check tests.
  • Update/check the cli generators.
