Wrapper component for Flip Card Web Component.

• Card component can flip on hover or on click
• Styling can be overriden through CSS variables

Styling

The Flip Card Web Component includes CSS variables that help style the component. Below are the default values:

--flip-card-height: 100px;
--flip-card-transition-duration: 800ms;
--flip-card-border-radius: 4px;
--flip-card-box-shadow: 0 15px 40px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.15);
--flip-card-background-color-front: white;

Building and running demo

• git clone repository

Getting started

Basic example:

FlipCard onHoverFlipCard = new FlipCard(new Span("front side"), new Span("back side"));
add(onHoverFlipCard);

FlipCard onClickFlipCard = new FlipCard(new Span("front side"), new Span("back side"), FlipCardVariant.CLICK);
add(onClickFlipCard);

Special configuration when using Spring

By default, Vaadin Flow only includes com/vaadin/flow/component to be always scanned for UI components and views. For this reason, the addon might need to be whitelisted in order to display correctly.

To do so, just add com.flowingcode to the vaadin.whitelisted-packages property in src/main/resources/application.properties, like:

vaadin.whitelisted-packages = com.vaadin,org.vaadin,dev.hilla,com.flowingcode
