Hi, I'm building kernel for roc-3399-pc with the config file firefly_roc-rk3399-pc_defconfig. After booting it from SD card, everything seems fine except for the wifi setting, I can't see the wireless device with the interface usb.

I think the driver is not loaded and I tried to change the .config file under kernel folder and replace every value of the configurations that I think may be related to wireless network from m to y.
And the board can not be booted any more. I want to have the board working with a usb-wifi-card, but I can't find the kernel module location.

If I typed modprobe command, I will get the following errors:

firefly@firefly:~$ sudo modprobe rtl8188eu
modprobe: ERROR: ../libkmod/libkmod.c:586 kmod_search_moddep() could not open moddep file '/lib/modules/4.4.179-ga88643d6bc6e/modules.dep.bin'
modprobe: FATAL: Module rtl8188eu not found in directory /lib/modules/4.4.179-ga88643d6bc6e

By the way, I have another pre-built Image that is able to boot normally and the usb-wifi device can work well. Unfortunately the kernel dosenot support DOCKER so I have to build the kernel myself.

commit 23da958 ("fs/proc/proc_sysctl.c: fix NULL pointer
dereference in put_links") forgot to handle start_unregistering() case,
while header->parent is NULL, it calls erase_header() and as seen in the
above syzkaller call trace, accessing &header->parent->root will trigger
a NULL pointer dereference.

As that commit explained, there is also no need to call
start_unregistering() if header->parent is NULL.

commit cf3591e upstream.

Revert the commit bd293d0. The proper
fix has been made available with commit d0a255e ("loop: set
PF_MEMALLOC_NOIO for the worker thread").

Note that the fix offered by commit bd293d0 doesn't really prevent
the deadlock from occuring - if we look at the stacktrace reported by
Junxiao Bi, we see that it hangs in bit_wait_io and not on the mutex -
i.e. it has already successfully taken the mutex. Changing the mutex
from mutex_lock to mutex_trylock won't help with deadlocks that happen
afterwards.
