FAQ: Broken install after official update

There is an issue where official game updates can break FMT or mods installed via FMT. This will only affect games that cannot support a ModData folder.

Simple fix:

Always attempt a repair first and retry

Complex fix:

• Close FMT
• Repair Game
• Locate install folder, Delete __FMTBackup
• Launch FMT which should allow the system to regenerate the mod system

If all else fails:

• Close FMT
• Reinstall Game
• Launch FMT which should allow the system to regenerate the mod system
