@ESMValGroup/esmvaltool-developmentteam The next release of ESMValTool is coming up. When you do a development installation, you will already get the release candidate (a test version) of the upcoming ESMValCore v2.9.0. Check out the exciting new features in the release notes.

There is one more week to include new features (e.g. recipes, CMORizers, etc) for the upcoming ESMValTool v2.9.0 release, so please make sure anything that you would like to include in the release is merged into the main branch on Monday June 19 at the latest. Bugfixes can be included for another week after that, with the final release planned on June 26.
