@nimesulide Just want to start a discussion that should we still support python 2? we all know it's coming to an end, and support is already stopped from Jan 1st this year.

I'm not against supporting python 2, but I haven't seen anybody using it for a long time.

I kind of think we should deprecate python 2 now, but I don't want to break existing usage...

We can remove it, and then I'll just put the types back, also then I'll increase version number to 1.0.0, so it's a non-backward compatible release. What do you think?
