NOTE:
When you open the TaxCore mobile POS for the first time, you will have to give the app two permissions. The first one allows TaxCore mobile POS to take pictures and record videos, while the second one allows it to access photos, media and files on your device. Just click Allow on both popup boxes.

Installing certificates

NOTE:
You need to follow these steps if you plan to use this app with a V-SDC server. If you plan to use it with an E-SDC server (available only on a local network), see Connecting to VSDC or ESDC.

  1. After you download the app, go the Taxpayer Administration Portal and request issuing a new certificate in a file format.

  2. Once your request for a certificate(s) has been approved, you will receive a notification from the tax authority with the necessary certificate (.pfx file) and credentials: UID, password, POS Access Code (PAC), and Download URL(s).

    TIP:
Since you will have to install the certificate(s) on your handheld device, make sure you open the notification to that device.

  3. To download the PFX file certificate, click on the Download URL in the notification. The link is active for 7 days.

If the link expires before you download the certificate, you can request a new one via the List of secure elements section on the Business Location Details page.

After you click on the link, a new page will open where you need to enter the Captcha code and click on Submit.

On the next page, select the option to copy the download link to the clipboard.

    NOTE:
The copy-to-clipboard option can be used multiple times until you paste the copied link in the app.

    NOTE:
If you don't have screen lock protection (PIN, fingerprint...) set up on your device, the Android system will ask you to set it up when you download the PFX certificate. This is a standard procedure for protecting the security of your private information.

When you start the app, you will see the “Application not configured” message on the screen. To install the certificate you received in the notification:

    • tap Configure now

    • paste the Download URL from the clipboard and tap Download

Since you are installing the certificate for the first time, you will need to enter the Password which you also received in the Tax Authority's notification (see above). You can also copy-paste it from the email or enter it manually (you can enter the password in both upper-case and lower-case letters).

    Changing certificates

During later use, if you install more certificate(s) on the same device, you will be able to change the certificate you want to use by tapping Change certificate on the app home screen.

    NOTE:
You can select only one certificate at a time.
