This is the initial release of my VDL tool for the Miyoo Mini Plus.
I'm new to Go and this was just a fun learning experience for me that I thought I would share due to the large amount of interest generated. The tool is functional, but is lacking a few things to make it fully polished. It does work though and has successfully downloaded everything I've thrown at it so far (except for PS1 multi-disc games!).
I think this tool shines brightest for everything other than PS1. All of your lower end games download in seconds, even NDS isn't too bad if your internet is okay. PS1 isn't amazing. They're downloaded in a .7z format, which must be extracted before running. I was testing with a game which is only 57MB after extraction, yet it still took 28 seconds to complete. This isn't too bad in my opinion, but it's also a very small game. The larger ones do complete, but they take forever and I'll admit it's not great just looking at an "Extracting..." message with no indication of progress! I'm not sure if I can speed up this extraction in future, but will keep it in mind for future versions.
If you find any issues please let me know. I think once I implement some kind of download progress and get some testing feedback, I'll be happy to call it "done" on a first real release, consider this a beta for now. :)
