Automatic addition of a new nominee submitted through the online form available at https://digitalpublicgoods.net/submission

The submission form wasn't really clear about what type of license was OK for an Open Standard. Is CC-BY-SA 4.0 accepted?

@prajectory this is a good topic to add to the next standards meeting. Please add it the list. Thanks.

@AlexLakatos Thanks for your nomination. You are correct in that we do not explicitly state which licenses are acceptable for a standard type. We need to provide good guidance in this regard before we accept your nomination, so kindly bear with us while we come to a resolution in this regard. Marking this issue blocked until we resolve the list of acceptable licenses for type standard

The issue of listing approved licenses for the standard type is being tracked in DPGAlliance/DPG-Standard#96

Following Standard Council discussions, we are no longer accepting open standards submissions at the moment. We are currently working on integrating open standards as part of the DPG Standard indicator 8: Adherence to Standards & Best Practices, but not as a stand-alone DPG category.

For the moment we will be closing this PR.
