It would be nice to have a command-line flag to get and set the current track's favorite status.

Additionally, if this is supported by Mpris2, it would be nice to have that functionality there as well.

That's a good idea. Regarding MPRIS, there is the notion of rating (float in range 0.0 - 1.0). Maybe we can use this (0 = not in favorite, 1=in favorite). I'll investigate.

I've split up this issue. I added the command line flag already and will address the MPRIS part in version 3.1
