rebalanced temperatures and added early portal storms to weather type list.
Summary
Mods "rebalances map temperature and adds missing weathers"
Purpose of change
Per reports from another player on Discord. did a revision of the temperature stats on the mod. Due to the way the base game simulates the climate fluctuations in New England its not possible to properly tune the temperature of the region to 100% match a tropical rainforest without breaking the game for players (even with perspiration getting over 30 Celsius is abusive due to dehydration and overal morale debuffs).
The mod should still be considered tropical but the temperature range is now closer to a Temperate Rainforest like the Valdivians in South America, South African or NZ/Australian rainforests.
Describe the solution
-changed the base temperature of the region around 16 Celsius
-changed the temperature modifiers to 5/0/3/5 (Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter)
-added early portal storms to weather types list
Describe alternatives you've considered
crank up those temperatures and just let the player suffer due to 40 degree nights even with vehicle cooling.
Testing
generate a new world and did a thorought testing of temperature fluctuations at different timestamps over the seasons, including the changes on day/night during the change of season to see if there were temperature hiccups, so far it seemed to work fine.
Additional context
I still want to look at how to increase the temperature range but for now this is the best compromise i can do while keeping the game playable.
