Summary

SUMMARY: Bugfixes "Fix uninitialized variable causing compiler warning with LTO=1"

Purpose of change

This uninitialized variable causes a compiler warning when makeing with RELEASE=1 and LTO=1

Fixes #42217

Describe the solution

Using the solution given by @andrei8l in #42217, the variable is simply initialized to resolve the warning.

Testing

This simple patch compiles with no warnings and runs.
