Sawing off weapon stocks and better folding stocks

We currently do not have the option to saw off stocks on weapons, I have attempted to write a JSON solution but nothing currently works as I run into limitations with what is allowed. I have also been asked to request proper folding stocks, ones that have to be manually unfolded instead of the current implementation

Solution you would like.

I would love to have the ability to make stock-less versions of guns in game for the sake of saving space and weight, sacrificing handling or such in compensation. This would also potentially allow us to finally holster some shotguns in the XL holster. Proper folding stocks would also be a nice change to their current implementation of happening automatically.

Describe alternatives you have considered.

Try to leverage the gun mod system JSON to make the sawn off stock a mod, would require making it a uninstallable fixed mod, or a crafting recipe that does such due to mount location limitations (cannot assign two locations to one mod)

Additional context

i have the numbers already for what a sawn off at the drop at comb part of a shotgun stock, standard stocks are 36cm for shotguns and 34 cm for rifles, sawing off a shotgun at the drop at comb saves about 26 cm of length, im not sure how that is applied to rifles but it is probably very close if not the same (say 24 cm for instance). weight would be dropped by 350 g (according to comparison of stock mods) and 500ml of volume (again by comparing to stock mods.) (these last two im not super certain of and can be anywhere in those ballparks really)
