Picking the correct Install

Windows users

If your PC is running on 64-bit install: Abyss.Overlay.Setup.v[VERSION].exe If your PC is running on 32-bit install: Abyss.Overlay.Setup.v[VERSION].x32.exe
(If you do not understand this read the bottom message) (IGNORE THE BLOCMAPS)

MAC users

If you are using any MAC device install Abyss_Overlay_v[VERSION]_MAC.zip

Linux users

There is currently no support for you, if you use Linux and know how to code a fair amount do let us know!

I don't understand what is meant by 64-bit and 32-bit

64-bit and 32-bit are architectures for PCs but you don't need to know that. What you need to know is how to find it!

Go to File Explorer, Right-click this pc and click properties, to the right of the System type is it 32-bit or 64-bit? That is what architecture ur pc runs on

How to bypass the warning

MAC bypass

  1. Open System Preferences.
  2. Go to the Security & Privacy tab.
  3. Click on the lock and enter your password so you can make changes.
  4. Go under the General tab
  5. Change the setting for Allow apps downloaded from to App Store and identified developers from just App Store

Windows Bypass

  1. Click learn more on the warning
  2. Click Run Anyways

How to add a custom log file path

  1. Locate your latest.log file for your client
  2. Go to settings in the overlay (last icon on the right of the music)
  3. Scroll down till you see Custom latest.log path (You may have to scroll)
  4. Click on the Select log file button then find and click the latest.log

How to change the overlays client

  1. Go to settings in the overlay (last icon on the right of the music)
  2. Scroll down till you see Change client (You may have to scroll)
  3. Click on the Change client button then find and wait for the overlay to reload
  4. Click on the client like you did when you first launched the overlay

How to input API key manually

Go to the settings and go to the Hypixel API Key setting, paste your API key there

Labymod won't work with the overlay

Change your client from LabyMod to Vanilla (if you don't know how to change client look above)

/api new does nothing

Your client may be incorrect or you may have a mod interfering with chat.

Chat modification

Make sure that you have no mods that change the:

  • Formatting
  • Colour
  • Names

of chat in any way possible or else it will mess up with the overlay.

Manually input API Key

You can set your API key manually (see "How to input API key manually")

Select the correct client

If the icon in the top left of the overlay does not correlate with ur client change it (if you don't know how to, see "How to change the overlays client")

/who does nothing
