All AOSP specific items have been removed to allow for Universal Compatibility this includes the
AOSP frameworks and telephony class libraries and the OemHookRil class which implemented methods
that required the hidden SDK methods.

Functionality has been reduced to showing device information at present and will be extended once
methods are discovered to issue AT commands, tracking of Cell Info, Signal Strength and Location
are still available.

Settings have been added but need to be completed but the basic items are displayed.

Changes mean the application no longer needs to be signed using the AOSP platform key and functions
correctly as a user application and should also function on any device.

Femtocell Detection will be implemented full for CDMA devices in the next commit.

@xLaMbChOpSx , @SecUpwN :
I've been staring at this IPC stuff for more than a week now, and I'm not getting any closer to a solution for neither AT commands, nor for OEM_HOOK_RAW IPC formatting. Unless you Xlamb, can think of some other way of utilising the ServiceMode data (and circumvent the signature business) I seriously think we should get back to AOSP ROM'ed dev phones.

So I have completely changed my mind (and one is allowed to do that.) I'm thinking that without proper handling of these issues, development will grind to a stop and that is not very nice. With
the use of AOSP for development, at least we can play with the radio information that IS available.

So what do you guys think?

Very wise idea! I don't want to say that i saw this step coming, because i know the people here who work on that issue have a great capability to get things done. But we should be realistic and try to keep people motivated.

Yes, we need motivation, and I have not been able to be very motivating on this topic... Perhaps simply because I just don't understand many of the darker alleys of AOS app development, and I'm sorry for that.

@E3V3A, I think we should focus on packing everything necessary for running AIMSICD into the App. I know that this won't be the case until we have figured out some very basic stuff and might take a long time, but hey, this is a PROJECT, right? We have no time limit and noone can rush us. And as for motivation, @He3556: Why do we even work on AIMSICD? Personally, I do it to make this world a better place. No, honestly! I am so sick (!) of all the spying, the data collection and me feeling so helpless knowing that other fucktards make money out of me analyzing my calls, my private live, when and where I go and even how often I poop a day. Ever heard of INDECT? Well, most people don't care, they won't listen, and if you tell them about automated mass-surveillance you're being laughed at and asked where you tinfoil-hat is. But DO NOT let yourself down! It all has a PURPOSE! There ought to be folks like us who care - not only for the sake of saving our own privacy, but also to avoid our children being born into a world like shown in Minority Report. And you know what? It WILL get worse if people don't wake up.

Now grab your BALLS and never stop to fight! It's my HONOR to be part of this project.

happy easter eggs to all :) I am ok with my motivation - i was thinking about @xLaMbChOpSx in the first place. We can be really happy that he joined the project. And i want to say THANK YOU! - i mean it seriously. But for every human it is important to achieve goals, from time to time. And it would be sad, if we are working on the basics (for the next 6 - 10 month) and he keeps programming it back and forth. That's the same like standing still, in the end.

I hope you all understand what i mean. I don't want to criticise anything or anybody here - it's just that i had this kind of "walking in circles" in so many projects before. By the way, i really correspond to the decisions that @E3V3A made in the past. And when i read the "i have changed my mind" and "Sorry, don't kill me" i thought - No way! you deserve a hug - or at least a couple of beers :) A vision can be brillian but the most "visionary" people fail when they try to set it up in reality.

...and thanks to @SecUpwN, for all the good work he is doing here.
...and of course @SgtObst and @illarionov

have a good time!
cheers!
