Week 9 Blog
The position that the mouse moves to becomes the pixel level.
The background is the camera mirror, the position the mouse moves to becomes pixel level.
For this project, we thought about censorship. Using convolution, the idea was to create a sort of a window that when moving the cursor over the image would reveal either clarity over the image that has been pixelized(censored), or pixels over the original image.
The example above is the first pass of the pixels over the original picture. What we anticipated to be more complex was not very difficult to accomplish so we will be exploring more ideas on how to give this project more depth!
We have iterated on our idea of censorship with pixels, so now the image to start will be fully pixelated and over time we will see the clear image of ourselves like a ripple on the water surface.
