This repository contains schematics, layout, and bill of materials for an OSHW microscope LED ring light. It can be controlled via the Capable Robot SAMD21 Touch HMI or any other MCU which has software libraries for the NeoPixel.
The PCB is powered and controlled via a 3.5mm TRS jack (more commonly known as a headphone jack).
The ring light is designed to fit around the end of a Opti-Tekscope OT-M HDMI Microscope, but it may fit around other microscopes with at 35mm diameter body. The project has a second PCB, which a matched M3 bolt hole pattern, which allows the LED Ring Light PCB to be clamped onto the aluminum structure of the microscope with long M3 bolts.
