Change Style guide to closer to .NET norms #488

Current coding style is an odd mix of K&R and .NET norms, lets shift to something closer to the norms.

This is also a good time to adopt .editorconfig for this enforcement.

Accidentally pushed some commits testing reformatting, decided against reformatting the whole repo at once and will do as I touch each file.
