AJA HD10A connector scheme

The AJA HD10A is a miniature, high-quality, 10-bit analog to digital converter for HDTV. A companion to the popular HD10C D/A converter, the HD10A can add an HD-SDI output to cameras, computers with HD RGB graphics, VTRs, or other analog-only HD equipment. The HD10A accepts HD YPbPr or RGB analog and outputs three duplicate HD-SDI signals. Works in 1080i, 1035i, 1080psf and 720p with internal or external sync (tri-level).

Experiences

  • Cinch-to-BNC converters are needed (buy them in GM, cca 10 CZK each) to connect SONY HVR-Z1E component output.
  • It works marvelously when connnected to AJA HDP box.
  • It heats up considerably when running for prolonged periods of time.
