AFAIK piped doesn't provide those thumbnails in the '/streams/' endpoint. |

That's right, Piped doesn't provide 1:1 thumbnails. Musicale does a workaround my masking all thumbnails showed to "fake" a square image, so the left and right borders are hidden. |

@Bellisario If you are playing an item from the search list. You could copy the thumbnail url and modify the px value to get a high res image for the player. |
