What actually happened

There are a few instances that work and some that don't. FYI, for twitter.com URLs, none of the methods below occurred an issue.

1. Pasting the URL (doesn't work)

Pasting the x.com URL in a blank row pastes the link as a text URL. Twitter.com URLs automatically generate an embed, as shown in the second try of the video below.

2. Typing /twitter and pressing enter (doesn't work)

When adding the block by typing /twitter and pressing Enter (without clicking on the "Twitter" block), entering the x.com URL in the replaces the Twitter block with a Paragraph block and enters the URL as a text link.

3. Clicking on "+" to add Twitter block (works after clicking "Try again")

When using the "+" icon, x.com URLs are prompted with a "Try again" button, which works after clicking. There is no issue when using a twitter.com URL.

However, on some sites, this method does not work and results in a text URL instead.

Sometimes, the URL is switched from x.com to twitter.com but it still doesn't embed after clicking on "Try again"

Noting a similar report here: #81116

This was for embedding x.com URLs in posts, which has been resolved since the report.
