Quick summary

When we use a Cover block with the featured image instead of the Post Featured Image block in Site Editor > Single template, the Cover block does not show the Media settings so the fixed background effect cannot be used.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Insert a Cover Block and set Use the featured image
  2. There are no Media Settings.
  3. When I add an actual Media, they show up.

What you expected to happen

I would expect the cover block to show the media settings when the featured image is used

What actually happened

There are no Media settings options.

📌 ACTIONS

Due to the age of this issue, and its dependency on a Core fix, I've downgraded the priority from High to Low to better reflect its status in the larger context of open bugs in this repo.
