Bug Description:

Infinite loading screen is displayed upon clicking "Pay for order' button with missing credit card fields on "Pay for order" page.

Environment:

Woocommerce Version : WooCommerce 8.9.1
WooCommerce Payments - 7.7.0-test-3

PC:
Windows 10,
Chrome(Version 125.0.6422.113)
Firefox(Version 126.0)

Steps To Reproduce:

1. Create any test site.
2. Install and activate all the required plugins.
3. Upload and activate the WooCommerce Payments v7.7.0-test-3 plugin.
4. Complete the setup wizard.
5. Complete the KYC flow.
6. Add a product and go to the checkout page.
7. Pay with a declined card 4000000000000002 - the error should occur which is expected.
8. Navigate to My account -> Orders and click Pay button in Actions column for the latest order
9. Select 'Use a new payment method', fill the form but do not fill some of the inputs.
10. Click on 'Pay for Order'
11. Observe that, Infinite loading screen is displayed upon clicking "Pay for order' button with missing credit card fields on "Pay for order" page.

Isolating the problem (mark completed items with an [x]):

• I have deactivated other plugins and confirmed this bug occurs when only WooCommerce plugin is active.
• This bug happens with a default WordPress theme active, or Storefront.
• I can reproduce this bug consistently using the steps above.
